Usually, new products bought by clients come with a one year manufacturer’s warranty which covers deficiencies resulting from bad parts or workmanship. During the warranty period, all extended coverage plans will (Safe Tech inclusive) refer you to the manufacturer once the problem affecting your item is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty so it can be resolved. For Standard Plans, there is no gap in the coverage. Safe Tech coverage kicks in as soon as the manufacturer’s warranty expires. If the plan you bought includes Accident Protection, it will be covered by Safe Tech from the moment you purchased your plan.
